We build capacity, partnerships, and provide affordable legal services to individuals, nonprofit organizations and grassroots movements to advance human rights. Our approach is movement-based and community-centered.
Our vision: that our efforts and collaborations transform our communities to make them more equitable and empower all people to exercise their human and civil rights to migrate, access education and to flourish.
Kathy Purnell, J.D., Ph.D., has over two decades of experience working in the nonprofit sector in the fields of civil and human rights, immigration and education. She has been a licensed attorney since 2008.
Are you a nonprofit service provider who is interested in collaboration to promote access to civil justice and expand awareness of human rights? Consider partnering with us to expand access to justice through an onsite legal clinic or presentation!
We provide direct legal representation and advice clinics for individuals who need affordable services but do not qualify for legal aid. We are passionate and diligent advocates for our clients. Our practice areas are immigration, educational advocacy and the expungement of criminal records.
